Online 8 Hour Hazwoper Training Course
At HAZWOPER Trainings, we provide the OSHA 8 hour HAZWOPER refresher training that would help workers meet the requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 for eight hours of annual refresher training.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The 8 hour HAZWOPER training is designed for the general site workers whose job involves removing hazardous waste or for workers who are exposed or potentially exposed to hazardous substances or health hazards. This HAZWOPER 8 hour course covers topics under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120.
Seat Time: This HAZWOPER training course has been approved for 8 hours of training

Prerequisites: Enrollment is open to students who have already completed the 24-hour or 40-hour HAZWOPER training.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
• Understand OSHA regulations and requirements
• Site Characterization for identifying hazards found in the workplace and steps to minimize hazards
• Understand principles of toxicology and their relation to various types of chemical exposures
• Develop a Medical Surveillance Program and understand the purpose
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Principles of decontamination and levels of decontamination and decontamination methods
• Understand potentially hazardous situations that involve corrosives, oxidizers, solvents and reactive chemicals
• Understand various considerations during an emergency and the significance of training and actions to personal safety and that of others.

Quizzes – There are lesson quizzes which students must clear to proceed forward to the next lesson.
Final Exam- Students must also appear for a final exam which they must score a 70% pass rate to successfully complete the course. The final exam can be taken 3 times if required.
Upon successful completion of this 8 hour HAZWOPER training course, you will receive a certificate of completion.
