Online 40 Hour Hazwoper Training Course

40 hour HAZWOPER safety training is required for the workers whose work involves Uncontrolled Hazardous Waste Operation as mandated by the Government.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

OSHA 40hr HAZWOPER training is devised for workers involved in voluntary clean-up operations, clean-up operations, emergency response operations, storage, disposal, or treatment of hazardous substances or uncontrolled hazardous waste sites. This course includes topic from 29 CFR 1910.120.

Seat Time: This HAZWOPER training has been approved for 40 hours.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

• Understand OSHA and its role in regulating occupational safety
• Site Characterization to eliminate work hazards
• Identify existence of hazardous materials in the workplace
• Encourage the use of Material Safety Data sheets (MSDS)
• Familiarize with materials, compounds and mixtures that may present flammable, explosive, chemical or radiological hazards
• Accentuate the importance of personal protective equipment to limit hazardous exposure
• Establish Site Control Program that limits the risk of exposure for workers working in the hazardous work zone
• Implement procedures to treat workers in the event of hazardous exposure
