Online 24 Hour Hazwoper Training Course

The 24 hour HAZWOPER training is a comprehensive training for the employees whose job is to visit an Uncontrolled Hazardous Waste Operation as mandated by the Government.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

24 hour HAZWOPER training course covers a broad issue that pertains to the hazards recognition at work places. The HAZWOPER training has been developed to protect the workers at hazardous sites and also provide extensive regulations to ensure safety and health in the work sites. This course will help workers to identify different types of hazards and also help suggest possible precaution and the preventive measures to reduce and eliminate work site hazards.

Seat Time: This HAZWOPER training has been approved for 24 hours.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

• Understand the purpose of OSHA and its role in regulating occupational safety
• Encourage the use of Material Safety Data sheets (MSDS) to identify and properly handle hazardous materials
• Use Site Characterization to establish problems existing in your workplace and measures that can be implemented to eliminate hazards
• Identify hazardous materials existing in the workplace and the possible methods, symptoms and preventative measures of exposure
• Familiarize with materials, compounds and mixtures that may present flammable, explosive, chemical or radiological hazards
• Emphasize the importance of personal protective equipment to limit hazardous exposure
• Establish an effective Site Control Program to limit the risk of exposure to only those working in the hazardous work zone

Quizzes – There are lesson quizzes which students must clear to proceed forward to the next lesson.

Final Exam- Students must also appear for a final exam which they must score a 70% pass rate to successfully complete the course. The final exam can be taken 3 times if required.
